Weather Meets Climate: 2015 Analysis for Saxony

A climatological, hydrological, and phenological analysis of 2015 for Saxony is available from DWD and LfULG and can be downloaded here.

We will see what 2016 will bring… However, soil moisture contents are still low and (at least for the lower mountain ranges in Germany) there is no significant snowpack left by now. After 2014 and 2015, 2016 would be the third, consecutive dry year…
